Privacy Policy
Spinz, operated by Spinz Official ("we," "us," "Spinz"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your full name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, and city/state. As you use the app, we also collect the content you create and share - profile and banner photos, garage/vehicle information, chat messages and photos, marketplace listings, event details, and reviews - along with activity data such as points, badges, RSVPs, friend connections, and follows. We use Google Maps to show hotspot and event locations. We collect a device token to deliver push notifications.
How We Use Third-Party Services
Spinz runs on Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, file storage, push notifications, hosting, and backend functions. We use Google Maps Platform to display locations, and on-device translation (via Google ML Kit) to translate chat messages - translation happens on your device and message content is not sent to a third party for this purpose. We use Brandfetch to display manufacturer logos.
How We Handle Your Data
All data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS). We limit access to your personal data to what's necessary to operate the app, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile -> Delete Account). When you do, we delete your account and profile data, along with any events you created. Content you've posted in shared community spaces, such as chat messages, may be retained or anonymized. We may retain limited data as required by law, for fraud prevention, or to investigate reports of abuse.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@joinspinz.com.

Account Deletion
To delete your Spinz account: open the app, go to your Profile, tap the account icon in the top right, select "Delete Account," enter your password, and type "delete" to confirm. This permanently removes your account and profile data. Some data associated with shared community content (like past chat messages) may be retained or anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy. If you're unable to access the app, email support@joinspinz.com.
